Asthma

Before I started at Choice Chiropractic and Wellness Center, I thought that going to the chiropractor meant getting your back cracked; end of story.  My opinion quickly changed after meeting Dr. Schnelle and learning his philosophy about how chiropractic treatment is more than just cracking your back.  I’ve learned that each region of your spine affects different aspects of your health.  In my case, my upper back is always subluxated which directly relates to asthma problems I’ve had since elementary school.  Every winter like clockwork, I’ll get some kind of chest cold which requires a more concentrated asthma inhaler called a nebulizer.  While both the albuterol and nebulizer work well to relieve asthmatic symptoms, they can cause lung tissue damage. The beauty of chiropractic treatment is that it can repair damage done without the side effects.  I was impressed to find that after only a few months of treatment, when winter rolled around, my asthma symptoms did not.  I credit Dr. Schnelle of Choice Chiropractic and Wellness Center for making positive changes to my health.
